Mould Remediation

Active and inactive mould and pest infestations need to be addressed as quickly as possible preventing their propagation and spread to other items in your collection, storage or home.

• Remediation services include:

• Freezing at -20°F to kill the mould, followed by removal of the spores. Mould spores will go dormant during the freezing process and must be removed.

• Reduction of staining caused by the mould.

• Repeated freeze and thaw of cycles to kill active pest infestations followed by removal of the carcasses and fras.

• Triage assessment of large collections to identify and isolate affected artifacts/materials

• Cleaning of storage areas contaminated by mould
